In Amitai Etzioni “ Working at McDonald’s” he describes the bad influence about working in fast-food chains. Etzioni’s research displays that student who work at fast-food chains has academic problems, as well as, school attendance and other extracurricular activities will be placed aside instead of made as a priority. His research also conveys that teenagers working at fast food restaurants impact the skills that will be useful in later life, and demolish their ideas about the worth of a common dollar. To most of us, it seems to be a good idea for teenagers to work; it helps them to learn how to be independent form their parents. However according to Etzioni’s research, working at fast food restaurants doesn’t give teenagers an opportunity for entrepreneurship, self-supervision, and self-scheduling.
