Through the OSHA and the workers’ compensation laws, Beverly Tull has the right to file a claim with the board to be able to get a compensation and surgery for her injury. She fulfilled the two requirements of the workers’ compensation laws which are the existence of an employment relationship and that the injury itself resulted from the job or course of employment (Miller, 2015, pp. 656). Beverly did tell her employer about the situation since they recommended her to contact a physician and also filed the claim with the board (Miller, 2015, pp. 675).
