Work life in America enslaves and holds back people who are blinded for the greediness which causes them to fall in the trap of work.
Americans always have been characterized for being hard workers; however works has become mechanism of slavery. American work life enslaves people and it also lacks of a balance that allows the individuals to enjoy their professional achievements as well as their personal life. Certain people lose the control of their life and rely completely on their work activities this addiction can be considered in a positive way since it produces good results for the company and therefore job satisfaction increases however all addiction have consequences. Money is the common excuse or reason to don't leave their current tedious jobs and start to look for an opportunity to do what they actually would like to do. Along life individuals have performed a significant number of jobs and the majority weren't their preference. People must have to learn that all those tedious jobs have contributed with an experience or some kind of knowledge to themselves and maybe in the future that will worth something. Steve Jobs in his outstanding Stanford commencement speech stated "You can't connect the dots looking forward you can only connect the dots looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future".
