I believe my work experience merits a proficiency level of “5” as predicated on the following positions as trial counsel (prosecutor) and Deputy Staff Judge Advocate (senior prosecutor).

1. Title of position held: Trial Counsel (Prosecutor) as the Chief of Military Justice at both Soesterberg AB, The Netherlands and Moody AFB, GA.

2. Exact or approximate dates I held the position: April 1992 to June 1994 (26 months) at Soesterberg AB and June 1994 to June 1997 (36 months) at Moody AFB.

3. My precise role and brief description of the relevant activities I performed in the role. I served as the Chief of Military Justice managing the charging and processing of courts-martial cases and other disciplinary actions. I oftentimes served as the lead prosecutor. At Soesterberg I was the lead (normally) or assistant prosecutor in some 15 courts-martial; at Moody I was the lead prosecutor in some 25 courts-martial and adverse administrative hearings.

A fair number of the approximately 30 cases I prosecuted involved highly complex cases where I was lead counsel. I handled highly complex cases that inter alia sexual assault/rape, child molestation, arson, aggravated assault, drug distribution, computer crimes (including child pornography), fraud, and major thefts.
