Worgons Monologue

I was running my umbrella kept catching the wind and slowing me down. That thing kept following me… At least the umbrella protected me from that creature’s slobber… I started to cry racing along the empty street. I wish I hadn't tried to run away… At least not today… I had gotten into a fight with my older brother, My only caretaker. The rain had been falling down and the plump drops of water dripped onto the pavement bursting open and i just wanted to burst with anger. Just like a raindrop. So put on dress to be elegant like a raindrop when i broke free. I put on boots and a overcoat grabbed an umbrella and left. At first it felt okay to be away but then i started to feel strange. No food only these clothes. I couldn't just become one with the …show more content…
I looked outside, it was raining. There were Worgons everywhere in the sky . People walked outside like they couldn’t see them. Was I the only one who could see them? I asked myself in my head. I looked outside and spirits were everywhere. Fighting the Worgons, dead spirits… Was I dead? was I dead before? I looked over at my brother… He was shaking his head when had I died? Was I dead. Before I could see Worgons were they always in the sky when it rained? I couldn’t find my answers here so I ran to the cemetery dodging the Worgons and running as fast as I could. I looked around for my gravestone. I didn’t have one… So I wasn’t dead. Or did nobody know I was dead yet? I climbed onto the tallest gravestone I could find. It had no name, it was just a huge stairway with clouds and vines with little flowers carved onto it. I reached the top and it went back down but I didn’t go down. I grabbed the ankle of a spirit and crawled up to the cloud it was standing on. It looked at me horrified. “You, You, You are the girl that died on the streets… You met the first poison Worgon and it killed you. You fought it as a half spirit half mortal in an alleyway.” I looked at the spirit confused. “ =But how come I woke up at home?” I

The air was crisp; dew dripped off of the freshly mowed lawn. A slight breeze swung me softly side to side. There I was, on the ragged concrete steps, leaning morosely aside the brick pillar. It was a beautiful day, but the atmosphere surrounding me was miserable. Impatiently tapping my foot, I looked up and down the street to see if my friends were near.…

Silent Fields We had been hiking for half a day by the time we reached the base camp to Mount Fairfield. My feet were blistered and my clothes were wet with sweat. I looked like I had gone into a sauna with my clothes on, but that didn’t stop me from winking at the crew of women mountaineers that we passed on the way to base camp two hours earlier. I lit a cigarette as I walked; I deserved it.…

The Antique Urn Parked outside Delaware's house, I honk the horn of my car for the third time. That girl is never ready and I’m never patient enough. Finally, she gets out of her house struggling to figure out what to do with the long sleeved plaid shirt her mother had probably forced upon her. Stilling struggling to decide whether she should wear the shirt on her black crop top to satisfy her mother or tie it around her waist and say hell to modesty I honked for a fourth time just to hurry things up. She jogs towards my car, enters the passenger sit, slams the door and throws her plaid shirt to the backseat.…

I was sitting in the front right section of the house if you could even call it that anymore. The once-white carpet was now covered with blood. The glass and dirt from picture frames, vases, lamps, potted plants and the TV mixed with the blood forming into a cohesive mat that now covered the floor. Beyond that, the light brown coloration of hardwood floor was now tainted with bloody footprints. These footprints lead towards that very pool of blood and vomit where I had woken from the night before.…

I ambled around my family's spacious property, the same property I had traipsed around almost every day in my life. I had walked this property feeling elated, dejected, and even puzzled, but today I was feeling as aggravated as I feel when a teacher gives out homework on a sunny day. I would have much rather been inside my comforting house, eating a delectable dinner, as delicious to me as any five star restaurant, with my family, than looking for my annoying brother. Through our dense treeline, I yet walked, to our mystical pond. Dodging the constant tree branches, I became more and more irritated.…
