One of the greatest places I’ve visited, in my short life, is Fisheating Creek. Now don’t get me wrong as much as I enjoy a good stroll through downtown, nothing beats the great outdoors. Fisheating Creek is a narrow camp ground with a creek parting it down the center. It is a camp ground, so of course you’re surrounded by a plethora of thick hardwood hammocks and cypress swamps. To top it all off there’s practically no power so the only thing to admire at bedtime is a great starry night.
