“Forget about feeling, that’s not what pays” This quote is describing the way of the system doing what you have to no matter if you feel it is wrong and you know you shouldn’t, however even if you feel it you know your feelings won’t get you paid. In “Wordless Chorus,” By My Morning Jacket it embraces a life journey that everyone takes in their lifetime. They teach us remembrance of our past and promises we made as a kid. It takes the reader or listener on a spiritual and worldly guidance. To begin, Verse 1, starts with the line “So much going on these days,” the quote is speaking on the world and is saying that there this something happening everyday Verse 1, uses alot of figurative language and imagery and also a metaphor. “A carton of eggs think, it’s all worthwhile,” This quote is meaning something deeper it is not just talking about a carton of eggs it’s how they are aligned into believing that would they do is meaningful and is worth the time. He also seeks spiritual guidance in verse 1 asking what more can he do to help. “Tell me spirit, what has not been done?,” My Morning Jacket is asking for help by using a deeper emotion by trying to reach out to his inner self his spirit. …show more content…
