Word Cluster Sheet Analysis

Upon completing the “Word Cluster Sheet” I tallied up all the points, and I was assigned green. Green is not a color I have ever seen myself as, but from intellectual to abstract I feel this personality test was extremely accurate. In the learning environment section, the personality sheet mentions that I would prefer neat, orderly, nice and quiet when I study I want nothing more. This list is very accurate save for a few words I don’t think I am heartless or

The Waterhouse Center was an incredible experience and an appropriate use of class time. The activities served as an informal way to get to know our peers, as well as an opportunity to analyze our own behavior. As a member of group “A” led by Bernie, we successfully accomplished a majority of the different events on his property. I will explain how we experienced success and trouble as a group, as well as how I handled my Myer’s Brigg’s typology and Big 5 personality types in relation to other individuals.…

True Colors Survey Review: My results were 8 orange, 14 gold, 11 blue, 17 green. Interestingly, I took this survey about 4 years ago and my results said I was a Blue-Orange person and for the most part the more recent results are more accurate of who I am today. Years ago, I used to be a more eccentric, outgoing, and extroverted person. Today I have matured and balanced it for the better in my opinion.…

Finding the True in Blue When deciding between the 2 personality tests, the blue True Color test fits me best. In the description, I found that, “Desire quality time with loved ones” is something I enjoy greatly. Although, most teenagers do not want to be spotted in public with their family, I am not embarrassed when my friends see me with them. There is nothing better than being out on the crystal clear Higgins Lake with my family and spending the day relaxing on the boat in the warmth of the sunshine. I cherish moments when my whole family gets together at the same place, even if it is something as simple as laying out on the boat.…

The Way of the Wordsmith By Keenan D. Davis Nicholas Lemann’s interview; and subsequent critique of Frank Luntz’s methodology, highlighted both the simplicity and complexity of finding the right words to effectively persuade individuals not of a similar mindset. The ultimate assumption being the naivety of the individual targeted for persuasion. If one has an informed opinion on a subject it is harder to manipulate their understanding of it with empty rhetoric. Too often the general public will elect officials who implement policies based on their presentation rather than effectiveness or benefit.…

Others the results were right on target and the test described me very accurately. As I mentioned I am a reserved person that I select when I will allow myself to be the center of attention and be part of the spotlight. As a result, I have concluded that I am a very passive person where I tend to stay on the sidelines and observe what might be going on. I was shocked the type of profession would best suit me. All though I have chosen a very different profession.…

In order to study personality, psychologists devised a plan to qualitatively measure the traits that differentiate humans from one another. The Big Five Factor Model provides a concise measurement of five basic human qualities that most every person possesses. These qualities fluctuate throughout life and the quiz seeks to measure these changes throughout development. While the conclusions made based off this model are generalizations, it provides a clear view of how certain personality traits are affected by environment, age, gender, race, etc.…

My results from the 16 personalities quiz were the commander code ENTJ-T with a role of analyst and social engagement strategy. This self-assessment was spot on it was a tad scary; Extraverted I enjoy social interaction and being in slightly intimidating situations. Intuitive seeing as I love to learn about other people's perspective on things because my ideas aren’t necessarily the only or best ones out there. I enjoy creating hypothetical situations and sometimes just wonder... Thinking, the majority of the time I think more with my mind instead of my heart because sometimes that’s just a lot more practical and most times has better outcomes (in my opinion).…

My finding from the self-assessment comes as no surprise. I have a kinesthetic learning style, but both visual and auditory styles are close behind, I have become flexible in learning styles, depending on the subject I am studying will determine the type of style works best to obtain the most of the information, for example, I will gain more on new work instruction at work by practicing the process several times before I am comfortable; although, when learning stories from the bible, I pick up more by discussing the topic with other church members during bible study. I am a visual learner for standardized information, I absorb best by reading the information. My temperament is a director, again, this comes at no surprise. I am a result-driven…

I might as well have thrown the personality test out the window, because when it came down to it, everyone was assertive. There was this competitive nature that came out in everyone and people where in the game to win it. I know that people do not like to lose, but it really surprised me how into the game people really had gotten. Usually when we play games together people are slightly competitive, but maybe it was because I was an outsider observing I had the chance to really see how things were. These factors consist of Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism, which can also be referred to as OCEAN. After taking the “What Is My Big Five Personality Profile” test, I scored the highest on the Emotional Stability, followed by a three-way tie with Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness; the lowest score I received was for Extraversion, I received a 10 out of 10 on the Emotional Stability category; this means that I am a relaxed, secure, unworried individual.
