The Waterhouse Center was an incredible experience and an appropriate use of class time. The activities served as an informal way to get to know our peers, as well as an opportunity to analyze our own behavior. True Colors Survey Review: My results were 8 orange, 14 gold, 11 blue, 17 green. Finding the True in Blue When deciding between the 2 personality tests, the blue True Color test fits me best. In the description, I found that, “Desire quality time with loved ones” is something I enjoy greatly. In order to study personality, psychologists devised a plan to qualitatively measure the traits that differentiate humans from one another. The Big Five Factor Model provides a concise measurement of five basic human qualities that most every person possesses. These qualities fluctuate throughout life and the quiz seeks to measure these changes throughout development. My results from the 16 personalities quiz were the commander code ENTJ-T with a role of analyst and social engagement strategy. This self-assessment was spot on it was a tad scary; Extraverted I enjoy social interaction and being in slightly intimidating situations. I might as well have thrown the personality test out the window, because when it came down to it, everyone was assertive. There was this competitive nature that came out in everyone and people where in the game to win it. I know that people do not like to lose, but it really surprised me how into the game people really had gotten. There are five elements that compose the Big Five Personality Type. These factors consist of Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism, which can also be referred to as OCEAN. After taking the “What Is My Big Five Personality Profile” test, I scored the highest on the Emotional Stability, followed by a three-way tie with Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness; the lowest score I received was for Extraversion, I received a 10 out of 10 on the Emotional Stability category; this means that I am a relaxed, secure, unworried individual.
