Woodstock
The woodstock festival was a musical concert. This concert lasted for three days, Woodstock was not only known for the music but peace, sex and drugs. Woodstock was a turning point for the younger generation.
Woodstock was supposed to take place in Wallkill, N.Y, but just a month before Woodstock it fell through. The concert promoters had to find somewhere else for the concert to take place, they found Max Yasgur’s farm in Bethel, an alfalfa farm. Young people from all over the nation to see woodstock.
One day before the concert, the stage was still not completely ready for the performers that would be there the next day, and the Woodstock goers had already started showing up, causing the food concessions to run out of food quickly by the 50,000 early attendees. During one of the last singers performance it started raining causing delays throughout the entire concert. Half a million people showed to see the 32 bands., There was so much traffic that it actually paralyzed much of the highway on the way to woodstock. , nobody was able to get food and water into woodstock. Volunteers at woodstock begin making thousand of sandwiches for the thousands of hungry fans who were at the three day
