Jacob's told me an unknown suspect(s) had entered into his storage shed located at that location sometime between 1700 hrs on 3/18/2016 and 1900 hrs on 3/25/2016. Jacobs told me the suspect(s) had pulled the siding off on the north side of the building to gain entry into his shop. Jacob said as a suspect(s) pulled the siding to the side, it did damage the siding. Jacob said that the suspect(s) had taken several items from inside the shop but he was unsure of exactly what was missing because he has not done an inventory of his items. …show more content…
I observed footprints on the seat of the motorcycle. Also as I was walking around the shop I saw the same shoe prints on the floor after someone had walkthrough some transmission fluid. I ask Jacob if he knew who the shoe prints belong to. Jacob told me he did not recognize the shoe prints. I also noticed there are some fresh handprints in the dirt on several of the cars located inside the shop. After I made these observations by contacting the on-call detective Sergeant David Paden. Paden responded to the scene to assist me.
I took over all photos of the inside and outside of the building. While on the outside of the building I observed what appeared to be tire marks in the grass from a vehicle that had backed up next to the north side of the building. It appears the suspects had parked their vehicle at that location and use the garage door on that side of the building to remove the items.
I left voluntary witness statement with Jacobs and ask him to fill it out with an itemized list of everything missing from the shop. Jacobs told me it will take him a couple days to get the list ready for me but agreed to do
