“WHY ARE YOU FRIENDS WITH THAT...THAT FREAK”!!!, Julian says to Jack right before he socks him right in the mouth. In the story “wonder” by, “RJ Palacio” Jack Will stands up for Auggy, a boy with a deformed face and they soon become best friends. Jack and Auggie's relationship was on and off throughout the book. In the beginning of the book jack and auggy became best friends. Towards the middle Jack said bad things about Auggy which made them X-friends. At the end Auggie and Jack became good friends again. Jack will and Auggie's relationship changes throughout the story because of accidental actions. In the beginning of the story Jack is nice and the become best friends. For example, in the summer when Julian was picking on Auggy, Jack stood up for Auggie and told his own …show more content…
First of all, Jack apologized for what he did on halloween and said “ Sorry Auggy, I don't know why I said what I said but I am so sorry”. Secondly, he went over to Auggie's house to hang out and that's when the became best friends again. For example, when Justin, Vias boyfriend came over Auggie and Jack joked around with Justin and both had tons of fun together. Lastly, Jack started to go sit by Auggie and summer instead of all the “cool kids” and he got picked on for it but didn't care. Jack and Auggie became better friends and now Auggy understands that Jack didn't mean it.
In the story “wonder” by, “RJ Palacio” Jack and Auggy were best friends and then Auggie heard what jack had done and then soon became X-friends and in the end became best friends again.The story teaches us that some people make mistakes that the regret later and that people make mistakes to try and protect themselves but don't always know that they are hurting the people they care about most. Jack Will and Auggie's relationship changes throughout the story from good to x-friends to great friends
