In the story “Wonder” by RJ Palacio Auggie or August is brave. August was brave and tried new things. I have 2 reasons why [August is brave.
August is brave because he went to school. Even for normal people going to school for the first time can be scary but August is deformed. Other kids made fun of him and things like that but Auggie was brave enough to shrug it off. This shows that August is brave because he went to school.
August is brave because he tried new things. Auggie let other people see his face, and he went out of his comfort zone. He also made friends and spent the night at a camp. He also won an award for being the thoughtful in the school. This shows that Auggie is brave because he tried new things. These things show that
