Lupe is a character from the novel, the marble champ, by Gary Soto, is really different than the character from Wonder by R.J. Palacio, named Jack Will. they know “it's okay to be alike but it's great to be different” because, do have a few similarities, but they are more different. For example, what they do in school, how they handle life, and how they achieve their goals are very different from each other. Lupe is a shy girl, but a smart one she was the “winner of the reading contest at the public library three summers in a row”. Jack will is a boy who asks to come to school one month early to help a kid named Auggie that has had twenty-six surgeries navigate around the school.
