Women's roles during the American Revolution, as well as after, became more prominent due to the need of a form of a republican nation. The ideals became self evident during the American Revolution when women sought to be seen as more of a crucial element in society. Women started opposing the urge to be known as leaders passing down their importance and values for generations to come. Although the country's beliefs have gone astray, the values and morales of a Republican government are still present and are needed to be remembered through ideals.
