However leading up to his death, the Marible Sisters were well known to everyone for their actions of going against such a oppressive regime and as women too. Women often hid from rebelling against anything because they feared the punishments that would haunt them in later years. The three sisters took that risk even though they had a life and children to look after. Its as if it was a calling to them to rebel because of the horrors they had witness such as the loss of husbands, childrens, and disperence of women.
