The tax system would be equally distributed to everyone and it would be based on the income of the person and everyone will account for whatever they make. They put in that there is no constitution if no one obeys the laws in place and make no contributions. The last thing they put was that owning property was important to them and it can’t be taken away unless publicly and legally necessary.
After that declaration was written the women rose up and wanted to get out of their oppression and have rights of their own. The “Declaration of the Rights of Women” was written to express similar things as the men’s rights and they split their document up into a preamble, seventeen articles and a postscript.
The preamble talks about how women are oppressed and the things they have to go through and how men shouldn’t think they’re superior to women. The first article basically says that women are equal to man and should have the same rights and the only thing that should separate man and woman socially is common utility. Thirteen talks about being supported by the public and being able to get the same jobs as men. Women also want the right to be granted equal shares of opportunity. They stated that in the fourteenth article. In fifteen they state the right to get their tax information. Sixteen just reinstates the fact that they will get their rights to make sure everyone is cooperating with them. And the last article just makes sure that true equality is reached by letting women own property.
The postscript is calling women to wake up and see what is going on. It is telling the women that it is their time to make sure they have equality and to break the chains that man has around woman. It is telling these women that by becoming free they will have more power and better lives and that there will be nothing to dread anymore.
During the French Revolution, violence was very common. The Reign of Terror was during this time and that was a very gruesome time because of all the beheadings and overthrowing. One good outcome of the revolution is that it unified France and helped them to become stronger under the leadership of Napoleon Bonaparte.
