As a serving soldier of the U.S military, I totally agree with women participating in combat. Women don’t get enough credit to do the same thing as men. In addition, various people identify them as “FRAGILE”. I disagree. Presumably, I know women can do all things because they are the opposite of men. Because the government was justifiable towards men and women having the same jobs, they were immoderate, dissenting themselves on women joining the armed forces. Women before weren't even allowed to be in the military; however, that changed during the “last two years of World War 1, women were granted the right to join the military.” But throughout the years they only had recognition of being nurses, support staff, and caretakers of men. Furthermore, I think if women can join the U.S military to serve “OUR’’ country then most definitely they “ALL” have the right to fight in combat. Where a 1997 report by Rand Corporation stated “ that full gender integration in the armed services would have little effect on “ readiness, cohesion, and morale.” “both the Military Leadership Diversity Commission and the Defense Advisory Committee on Woman in the Services have urged the DOD to lift the combat ban.” Since I have not been in combat at all even with a female, I don’t think I would have a problem or be affected with serving with a female soldier in battle. Because in the military as a soldier, we look out for one another in regards to anything. A soldier is a “Battle Buddy” as we call it in the army. And in the army, if we must serve with a female battle buddy in combat then we go 110%. Protecting each other and rest of the
