Women should not consider going into Combat
Imagine not being raised by your mother at a very young age, and had barely gotten to know her since she was more than a thousand miles away from home on duty, in a third world country fighting for your freedom each and every day. The only way you could communicate with each other is by telephone without seeing each other physically for months. She would most likely not be there the moments that are cherish the most such as birthdays and the first days of school. Now and days, the numbers of women joining the military are staggering and growing rapidly. Women should not be allowed into combat since it could possibly destroy the culture of the military by making it weaker and less interesting for men to join the military. Anyhow, Studies show that women are unable to produce and take in pressure in the moment of combat (Kelm).

Studies have proven that women tend to lack lots of upper and lower body strength. Upper body strength is needed a whole lot since they have to carry bag backs close up to 80 pounds with them at all times. Their lower body strength is a huge concern since they tend to tear their ACL ligaments more frequently than man do (Kelm). Although, others may argue that women can overcome these concerns with the help of extra training so that they can build their bodies up more and not have setbacks. This may help more by training harder, but it is not going to keep them from getting hurt more. Once they are injured, it sets them back a year and costs the government more for their rehabilitation. In addition, it is a huge set back since it takes up to a year to recover and gain the ability to walk and gain their strength. In all, with the money being used in rehabilitation and extra training, it can be used to train extra men that are more reliable than women are and can be used immediately in
