The article states that women are paid less in Germany simply because of old history mindsets. What I mean by that is, many years ago, women were seen as weak and less capable at hard labor than men. This was the same website as #2, but it is a different article that is short and to the point. The main idea is that yes, women do get paid a lot less than men in Germany. However, it varies in different parts of the country. In western Germany, women are paid nearly 25% less than men. In eastern Germany, women are paid roughly 10% less than men. That is really interesting that Germany is like that. The main reasons why women are paid less than men in western and eastern Germany is when they miss or take time off of work.
