The Role of Elizabethan Woman
The Elizabethan era brought the Renaissance, new thinking to England. Elizabethan women from wealthy and noble families were allowed the privilege of education. Most of the girls of Noble birth were taught by tutors at home and Elizabethan women were taught from the age of five, or even younger. Many languages were taught including Latin, Italian, Greek and French. Know how to dance were one of the essentials for Elizabethan women. Elizabethan women were not allowed to go to university. The elizabethan era was one of the most fascinating eras of all time. The elizabethan period is name after the greatest queens of england. In the middle classes women didn’t know how to read or write, they eventually learned how to, but that was only if you could afford it. What school you went to, if you even went to school determines on which class you were during the Elizabethan Era. Women did not have the same rights as men even though the most powerful person in the Elizabethan Era was Queen Elizabeth a woman. If you were poor you would probably not be able to afford going to school. Social classes were important to the Elizabethan Era because it told you how to live your life and if you were rich or had a lot of land then you would live a very good life. This is important today because we still have social classes We still have poor people that are struggling in life and people starving due to not enough money to by food. Compared to how the Elizabethan Era social classes were way different than today 's social
