The way women dress doesn’t have an effect on whether they are asking to be sexually assaulted or not. In our society, there are people who think women who show more skin are more likely to be raped then women who show less. There have been many court cases that have men stating that the clothes the victim wore encourage them to do things to them without their consent. Many people have a strong opinion on how women should dress so they don’t distract men, when they should have an opinion on how men should respect women. Women shouldn’t be afraid to wear clothing they like or feel comfortable in.

A judge of the United Stated government basically says that woman’s clothing teases men and they should dress more modest. There are tons of rape court cases that have how the women dress under evidence to state she was teasing the men. The Judge is sexualizing women by saying they’re sex object.
