The women who argue to be able to serve in combat are not acknowledging the danger it puts themselves and the United States Military in. In the article,“Why Women Do Not Belong in the U.S Infantry.”, Serrano expresses that if they allowed women to serve in combat during her service in the military, anyone including herself would have jumped at the opportunity because of the novelty, excitement, and challenge; but, her views have changed with the experience and knowledge she has gained. Everyone needs to accept the fact that women are different, not only physically, but all around. It will only destroy the mission of the services (Para. 1).
