I 'm not sure if this is attainable, but I would like to investigate if the puzzle of the relationship between women and religion is piece-able. I would like to uncover true interpretation of what God desires for me, and other women and men in the world; in the interest that "every time we liberate a woman, we liberate a man." I believe and have believed in the supernatural and the spiritual realm of what is to be manifested in the religious aspect, but I would like to visualize physical word matching up with the spiritual word from several perspectives. Considering that most religions were founded on the hands of and transcribed by men, I would like to feel and espy the raw, unadulterated truth of women 's roles and place in religion. The God I know does not justify cruelty to a being based on sex. I realize that fairness, justice, and true equality does not always declare that women should be held under better, worse, or eve the same exact standards of men. However, I also know that we shouldn 't be subject to oppression for simply being women. I crave
