The author argues about the black males the right to vote. For white male is guaranteed however, for black male could vote only if they have owned property. I think that education plays a major role in their society simply because white people took advantage of black people by denying them an education. Black people didn’t go to school as a result they didn’t know much therefore black males was ruled by the white folks who deprived them with their rights such as the eligibility to vote. Also, the author argues that woman rights were deprived after marriage. The Declaration of Sentiments became the plan for the women’s rights movement and for the suffrage movement. Woman rights was equal the political rights to African-American men. I strongly believe that woman could have done something to oppose all the things they had been deprived with. To begin with, they should of stick together as a group and protest their rights as a citizen of their country. Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these rights, it is the right of those who suffer from it to refuse allegiance to it, and to insist upon the institution of a new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness. I was thought that when you want something in life you always go for it that why I still don’t understand why women and black males didn’t do much to oppose all they went through in the past. I believe if woman’s worked together for their rights, things could have changed earlier for them. As a woman I feel like we don’t collaborate with each other because we most likely want to compete with each other to see who can do it better. Unfortunately we are not smart enough to get together and do what is the best for us, not what is the best just for one person. If everyone works together I strongly believe that we will have a better result. Now, in view of this entire declaration of sentiments and resolutions of one-half the people of this country, their social and religious degradation in view of the unfair laws
