Women Santa

“Santa, I know him.” Macy’s Department Store had hired five women to play the part of Santa during this year’s holiday season in New York City.Macy’s did this because there was a shortage. The customers didn’t like this so they said they would never shop at Macy’s again. My opioin is that I wouldn’t like to have a woman Santa because having a woman Santa is like having a fake Santa.

I don’t think having a woman as a Santa Claus is the best idea because I don’t think women could pull it off.Just having the women say ho ho ho is a crime. Some of the reason I don’t like a woman be a Santa Claus is I don’t think they can pull off the white beard as a girl. Another reason is that Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus as a man,So he didn’t see

Santa Claus has always been men not women.Even in all the movies about Santa Claus he is a man not a woman.Saint Nicholas was the one who started it all out.He started out as monk. One night Saint Nicholas gave a man and three kids each a bag of gold.He did this because the family was poor and the man couldn’t paid for the daughters marriage. So saint Nicholas drop a bag of gold in each stocking and thats how the the tradition start. The stocking groaned as the stockings were fill with gold.Saint Nicholas was always a man not a woman.

My third and last reason is during World War Two,the men were out fighting far away from home,so the women played the role as Santa Claus. There was a controversy because the people didn’t like the women playing the role. Here today they are doing the same thing ,so the people probably won’t like it again. The people were as mad as a bull.

I don’t think a woman would be that great as playing the role of Santa Claus.I don’t think this because I don’t think they can pull it off.Another reason is I don’t think they would look that great. The last reason is that during World War two there was a conflict because of a woman Santa Claus.”The best way to spread christmas cheer is singing loud for all to

Santa’s goal is clear. However, if Santa is going to vanish or get sick, it would be fun to foreshadow this and SHOW him fading in and out, or getting weaker or older, when the meter changes, but not just at the end. It would benefit the character of Ant to have stronger comedic beats. In the first half of the script she remains pretty rigid and hostile, but not necessarily funny or quirky or relatable.…

The most important character among three Christmas ghosts in A Christmas Carol Christmas Carol was an influent novel which was written by Charles Dickens throughout one and half century about a life of Ebenezer Scrooge as a negative, penny-pinching and distasteful man in London. No one had ever wished to work as an employee in his office after his best business partner Jacob Marley died except Bob Cratchit. Nothing in the world would scare Scrooge if it wasn’t about the gold coins. The man, who used to be a heartless person, had changed in just a few nights before Christmas Eve coming. At this point, we must be thankful to three Christmas Ghosts which demonstrated Scrooge life’s faults and gave him a chance to change his bad…

Based on what I read, Scrooge sounds like an old grumpy, greedy, disrespectful man. According to the text it states that, he is grumpy and very hard to handle. Also, the text states that he doesn't really care about a plethora of things like Christmas because he does not get the point of Christmas. On page one, the author describes how he was exceedingly rude to a boy who shows up asking for any donations for the poor, but Scrooge tells him to leave, and argues that anyone who is poor can either go to jail, or go to the workhouse.…

Is Santa real? An indefinable amount of people believe that Santa does not exist because there’s no stable evidence to prove his existence. To some people, flying reindeer, living in the freezing temperatures of the North Pole, and Santa’s travel to all houses in the world in one night are unreal. However, all of these are possible with levitation, thermostats, control of time and space, or in other words, science. Flying reindeer may seem like something impossible, but something similar today exists.…

The ghost that made Scrooge want to change into a compassionate and kind man the most is the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. According to the text in Christmas Carol, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come shows Scrooge his death, the happiness of his death, and the tenderness that SHOULD had been connected with a death. In addition, this makes Scrooge to plead, to beg for an alternative future. This shows that even Scrooge feels the stab in his tiny heart because he expected someone to show a bit of compassion to him. Now, Scrooge wants to change for the kindness of others after seeing his terrible future.…

There is also a Snow Queen that is evil, she takes over innocent children’s lives.…

Christmas, an important and happy holiday, now used mostly to gain large amounts of money. Retail businesses make it readily apparent that Christmas has become too commercialized when stores start putting out Christmas decorations in October. Retailers are more concerned with ensuring that people spend money and generate their revenue throughout the season. Instead, of promoting family time and being grateful for what we have, it 's about receiving and giving the best gifts money can buy.…

Many of her actions are brave, even heroic: she throws herself out of a window, poisons the Doctor, and tries to save Sandy Claws. However, in the end, it is all for Jack. Many people love Sally as a character: she is strong, self-reliant, and willing to sacrifice herself to save others. These are all characteristics men are taught to strive to be from a very young age (Pollack, 2005). Could this be Tim Burton’s way of trying to break gender stereotypes, by creating a ‘strong female lead’?…

During an individual’s childhood, everyone must have heard of numerous fairy tales such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan and etc. A number of fairy tales have a particular message to the audience, such as Hansel and Gretel taught children not wander around, yet we listened to the stories we were told and never questioned them. As we got older and read the stories again, we can perceive that certain fairy tales can illustrate negative messages. One of the pessimistic influences of fairy tales is the portrayal of the women, particularly of the princesses. In this essay, I will examine the Brothers Grimm’s “Snow White and discuss the role of women and how they are portrayed in fairy tales.…
