Wolfgang Puck
Wolfgang Johannes Puck was born on July 8, 1949. He was born in the city of Sank Veit an der Glan, Carinthia, Austria. Wolfgang has made many appearances on tv, although his most consistent is on his tv show Cooking Classes With Wolfgang Puck on The Food Network. Wolfgang Puck was introduced to cooking from his mom’s side of his family. His mother was a chef in an Austrian town where they had lived. Later with his mother’s encouragement he began to cook and began formal training at 14. As a young child Wolfgang Puck worked in some of France’s greatest restaurants such as Maxim’s in Paris, the hotel de Paris in Monaco, and the Michelin 3-starred L’Oustau Baumaniére.

Around the age of 22 Wolfgang decided to move to France in Monaco to be the apprentice of Raymond Thuilier at L'Oustau de Baumanière. Once spending two years in France, Wolfgang moved to Indianapolis for two years working on La tour he then moved to LA to work and part own the restaurant Ma Maison, from Ma Maison Puck went on to create his first very own flagship restaurant called Spago since then he has opened restaurants such as Postrio, Chinois, CUT, and Wolfgang Puck’s multiple casinos and bars.Wolfgang Puck has been in a few community projects to give back to the people. Wolfgang Puck and his partners support a number of worthy cultural and charitable endeavors. Meals On Wheels helps people find local senior meal programs, helps local meal programs recruit volunteers and helps businesses develop corporate sponsorship and volunteer programs for senior meal programs. The Los Angeles Chapters will serve over 1.5 million meals this year to the elderly, disabled and homebound members of our community.
