Wolf of Wall Street This is not your average paper of “let me explain this out of box movie, with the dreamy Leonardo Dicaprio as the leading man”. No this is a paper of how a world of luxury and living the high life is really not so great when you are at the top. This is not just a movie showcasing his high, but it would not be an Oscar winning movie without showing his fall. Leonardo Dicaprio’s portrayal of Jordan Belfort was truly impeccable. Being that this is a true story, you start to think, what a life of crime, corruption, and being involved with the feds can get you when you are at the top of your game, and involved with drugs and sex. And by him adding a new woman he met at one of Donnie’s fabulous parties he soon goes down in a spiral. He meets a woman named Naomi, and he takes her to dinner, then soon after they go home and I think you know what happens after that. This affair continues for a while before one day Jordan’s wife catches him in action with Naomi. When watching the movie you see that Jordan feels bad for what he did to his wife so three days later he files for divorce. Naomi soon starts a life with Jordan and begins a relationship. They have an extraordinary apartment, with a gay butler and all. From which they soon realize stole a chunk load of money from them. By losing all this money, Jordan gets it back by money laundering and if you do not know what that is, it is the concealment of the origins of legally containing money, by either foreign banks or legitimate business. These practices are very illegal and can soon catch up to you; Jordan takes the necessary actions to hire a lawyer in his defense so his name is cleared. Keep in my mind all Jordan cares for is making more money and more on top of
