Among all the crimes committed, a lot of them are done in order to make or obtain something of value to the criminal. This can lead to people doing some rather shady practices in order to acquire wealth. The stock market is unsurprisingly a place that instances of “white collar crime” occur. People have begun to lose trust in stockbrokers due to articles that seem to surface frequently throughout the year of crimes such as security fraud and money laundering. Perhaps it is when he crashed his Lamborghini multiple times while severely high on Qualludes. The absolute craziest might be the capsizing of his massive yacht. While once again high, Belfort insisted that the captain sail through choppy waters only to have the boat capsize and then get rescued by the Italian navy, (Haglund). All of the crazy stories have been confirmed by writings in Belfort’s book and by first hand accounts. These crazy events provide an idea of what Belfort was like as a human and the situations he has

All fraudulent individuals have three aspects in common: the opportunity to commit a crime, the financial pressure to ignite thoughts to commit a crime, and the rationalization to make a crime seem less ethically incorrect than it really is to commit (Will et al). Barry Minkow, after gaining high power and praise in the market by reporters and Oprah Winfrey herself, had all three of these aspects allowing him to commit his fraudulent white collar crime worth more than $200 million on paper (Ciulla). When Minkow was 16, he started his own carpet cleaning business in his parents’ garage under the name of ZZZZ Best (Ciulla). Representing the Western genre, which was once popular, but started to be worn-out by the 50s, The Wild Bunch was a surprising reassessment of the American Old West. Instead of portraying lonely ’knights’ who discover the wild territories while looking for adventures, the film focused on aging outlaws whose possibilities and future prospects became limited and only their honour code is left for them. The gang tries to survive at any costs throughout the story – therefore the movie contains cruel killing scenes. The Wild Bunch, because of its violence, was immediately criticised by many.…

Essay Outline White-collar crimes, although not discussed very often, are on rise. When one hears the word crime, they are inclined to think violence or an unethical abuse of some sort.
