I tested four different laundry detergents to see which detergent was the best at getting red food dye out of clothes. My hypothesis was that Era would work the best. I hypothesized this because based on my research, Era had the highest consumer ratings. However, during this experiment I learned that Wisk detergent is the best at removing red food dye. I am inferring that Wisk is also the best at getting any stain out. I carried out this experiment by dropping food dye onto strips of cloth, letting each strip soak in a detergent and water mix, stirring/mixing each strip into the water, and then letting them dry.
