The song I have chosen to analyze is “See you again” by Wiz Khlafia. The lyrics main message is that you can just meet a random person in your life and it can end up being to not just your best friend, but see them as a blood family member. This can be said, because of the following lyrics “And what's small turn to a friendship ,A friendship turn to a bond, And that bond will never be broken,The love will never get lost,And when brotherhood come first, Then the line will never be crossed”. Another message from this track is having a strong friendship will of course have a lot of memories. Those memories will forever be with you no matter where that person ends up. This song to me is very tuchong because I am proud of my mom and what she has done for not just me, but my family, She has been through a lot of hardships, but always manages to fight for us and see a smile on us. There a a few messages that are being portrayed here in this song. For instance, to always be proud of your mom and appreciate for everything she does for you. Some mother work late nights, multiple jobs and so on to provide for their families and here is this song that mother seems to be doing the same. In addition, it talks about living in poverty and growing up to achieve your dreams providing for your family. This can be said in the following lyrics “I said mommy I'mma love you till you don't hurt no more and when I'm older, you ain't gotta work no more and I'mma get you that mansion that we couldn't afford”. In the song he does say how much he appreciates and loves his mom in the video Kanye does the same thing. The lyrics and video are very similar. His mom is in the audience and calls her up on stage and sings to her with passionate voice and gestures that show love and appreciation. A scene in the video that really caught my attention was when he tells her to get up and they start dancing together. During those next few moments you can see the connection between Kante and

The songwriter uses a reminiscing tone, imagery through their memories, and repetition of certain verses and references to nature within the song. The predominant tone in the song is the reminiscing of the memories that the two had and looking forward to the ones that are going to come. All the memories that he has of her are when they were young, moving for their son, and when she almost died due to a medical reason. Although some of these memories are rough, the speaker is…

The song is more like a motivation song that it talks about himself being amazing, having people come to only see him and considering himself a predator. Basically he is at the top that is why he is the only thing he is afraid of. The song starts immediately with the beat that goes throughout the whole song except when they use the sound of an animal and human sounds. Towards the end of the song there seems to be another instrument involved like a piano. The drum is mostly played throughout the song and it’s a fast beat that goes with the words that Kanye is saying.…

Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, and T.I.’s 2013 music video for their hit single “Blurred Lines” depicts three females in little clothing performing seemingly innocent acts that have sexual connotations while dancing around and engaging with the three well dressed men who seem to only be watching the women, which sets the tone that the women are only there to serve as eye candy for the men. The first thing the 503.3 million viewers of the “Blurred Lines” music video on Vevo saw was Thicke lying in bed with a topless model while his arm assumes a dominant position over her body almost completely blocking her from the view of the camera. While this position may be perceived as simply cuddling, in the realms of this music video that reflects…

This song talks about the speaker who is abused by her boyfriend but she stands by him because she loves him. This is similar to when we find out that Mayella was abused by her father but still loves him because well, it’s her father. They both show unhealthy relationships and how bad things can be at home. The mood in both of this song and the book is desperate. They are both desperate for love and will do anything to stay by their family/man.…
