I believe that without cell division we would die. Without cell division every time we got injured, it would never heal. This would lead to excessive amounts of infection, blood loss, and eventually a majority of your body would be covered. This is because cell division creates the extra skin cells to heal cuts. Another reason is bone growth. Our bones are very important, as they help with motion, are the frame of our body, and keep us from being flimsy , for lack of better term: “Meat bags”. Cell division helps bones grow and heal the same way it does for skin. Without this, broken bones would stay broken, and we would have a lot of major issues.
