I found the information in this course beneficial in helping me to educate my administration and staff members to rediscover the benefits of MI strategies in the learning environment. The section, A Broader View in An MI Odyssey, clearly outlines why is it important to develop the whole child, rather than solely focusing on standardized test scores. The information also illustrates approaches educators can use to help children who do not traditionally score well on standardized tests other ways they can excel, which can enhance the learner’s motivation and confidence in school.
