Wish You Were Here is a suspenseful story about how Dorothy, the main character, bought a gnome and discovers the mystery behind it. Each of the characters appeared played an important role in the development of the story. There are 3 main characters: Dorothy, Norman, and Norah. Dorothy is a very special character than characters in other stories, she doesn't have qualities most of the characters would have. For example, curiosity. Most characters in stories would be curious in this situation and try to discover the secret or truth, but instead, Dorothy is trying to avoid the conflict.
