Wipe Away Tactics

Decent Essays
There are a couple different tactics I would use in launching my product Wipe Away. The first would be a line of commercials. I would use commercials because adults and their children watch T.V. The commercials would show on child friendly networks but also networks like TLC or ABC Family this way I could get the attention of the kids and their parents. Another tactic I would use are setting up booths at kid friendly events around the United States for parents to get a chance to see the product and how it is unique. Some of the events we would show up to are festivals, theme parks, or various other attractions. This way parent’s can talk to Wipe Away experts and get a real feel for the product. The last tactic I would use is magazine, billboard,

This movie was a very fascinating one, can’t believe this is my first time watching it. The movie “The Cleaner” is about an ex-cop who makes his living by cleaning up crime scenes. Everything seems to be going well when one day he gets a job to clean up a gruesome homicide and figures out he is being set up. The crime scene, where he cleaned up never got reported to the police and unknowingly acted as an accessory to cover it up. Which automatically makes him the prime suspect of the case.…

Fed Up With the Food Industry In 2014 the film “Fed Up” by Stephanie Soechtig was composed to give insight to people about obesity (mostly childhood) and bring out the good and bad facts of the food industry. In this film they use many different rhetorical strategies to try to get the audience to really think about what they are saying. They want people to realize that obesity is an overwhelming problem in this world, and the food industry isn’t a big help with that either. They use many kids and their families to tell their stories about how they became obese and how/why they are trying to fix it.…

Eric Schlosser's short story “Kid Kustomers” is about how big companies are able to persuade children to like their product by advertising it with things they adore and use on the daily. Kids have always been an easy target to manipulate whether it's from clothing stores or restaurant chains. During the 1980’s is when kid advertising blew up and is actually known as, “the decade of the child consumer”. Schlosser states how working parents felt guilty from not being able to spend more time with their kids and would often buy them items they wanted to buy their happiness. Childrens nagging has been known to be able to make parents feel annoyed with their child and to make them be quiet is to get what they have been asking for.…

Targetting children in advertising is a problem with many potential solutions. Some say it should be banned altogether, others suggest that more restrictions should be implemented, and some believe that America's advertisers have a right to market their products however they see fit. It is my belief that aspects from each argument have merit, and that it should be the responsibility of America's parents and schools to teach children about the effects of marketing, both positive and negative. Advertisement is not inherently malicious.…

American children in the twenty-first century have been made into sheep by the veritable big bad wolf known as big business. Truly children are our most precious resource, without them we have no future; so why are we not protecting them? Any parent knows that children require a guiding hand and reassurance, with no experience or true knowledge of the world it's easy for them to be swept up in flashy commercials and billboards. Although banning child targeting advertising would be a bit drastic, and would surely have adverse effects on our economy, stricter regulations must be put in place for the sake of our kids. Some day the world and its many issues will be left to our children, and it's our job to prepare them for it, not exploit them.…
