The 13th night of the Winter Month of the Xarvid Empire.

It was also during this day of the month that a fierce snowstorm enveloped the entire Empire.

From all directions, the snowstorm rampaged througout, causing everything to be frozen.

A hundred cities were buried in deep snow and thousand villages became non-existent. Without even taking into accounting the nomads and small tribes living in the outskirts of the Empire, no more than a million supposedly should perish.

The divine astrologers of the Empire were dumbstruck. They did not expect such a calamity to befall them.

Resting his head on his right hand, he crossed his legs before staring at the new arrival.

"You---your Majesty!! My ap--apologies! Th--the news was so su--sudden that---"

Alfred hurriedly knelt on the floor while emitting stutering sounds.

"It's fine," the First Prince gestured with his left hand, "you of all people can act informal in front of me without encountering my wrath. Now speak"

"Yes, my gratitude your Majesty!"

Alfred cleared his throat before opening the white scroll he read and began reading it in front of the First Prince.

A large 'craaack' and 'buurst' sound exploded inside the room. The fireplace increased in the size of its flames and the logs inside it were completely burned 'til everything turned black.

"Hoo...I see."

The First Prince closed his eyes and smiled. Then, he nonchalantly threw the book he was reading to the fireplace. As if alive, the flames in the fireplace swallowed the book and exploded between the First Prince and Alfred.

"Your Ma--Majesty?"

Alfred muttered questioningly to the First Prince. For some reason, he felt the First Prince to have somewhat 'changed'.

The First Prince stood then walked beside the still kneeling Alfred before placing his hand on his

"Can I hold her?"

Raila asked the middle aged woman in front of her who was holding her newborn sound.

However, for a moment there was no response and the woman was staring at the baby with big eyes. As if, she saw a ghost.

"What's wrong? Head Maid, can I see my son?"

But, the Head Maid did not respond. She was still staring at the baby boy as she began to swear again. With trembling hands and gritting teeth, she held the body tightly in her fingers.

In response, the baby boy cried heavily, as if it was in pain.

"What are you doing Head Maid!? You are hurting my son!"

Raila, altough was weak due to the labor, felt a strong force inside her. It was the protecting instinct of a mother.

The head maid tossed the baby to Raila, as if it was a doll.

"HEAD MAID WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL MY SON!?"

Raila was shocked in disbelief. Before, she was grateful for the Head Maid's help in her labor. But now, due to the sudden actions of her, she held her in contempt. It also bewildered her what had made her changed.

Then, she heard the head maid utter a sound, while pointing at the baby boy, who was still crying, with her finger.

Pablo Picasso: The Tragedy In Picasso’s “The Tragedy,” he used several different techniques to create the visual elements in the painting. The three figures, carefully drawn, and the use of contour lines help shape their bodies and show the deep thought in their faces. The color used in the painting was mainly shades of blue. The beach is a greenish blue, set against the pale blue sea, the sky is a darkened dusky blue, bringing a cold, emptiness to the piece. My most valuable possession was my house. It wasn’t anything fancy or exquisite, but it was there that I had spent the precious moments, however few, with my beloved dad. I remember that we would spend hours playing, running around the arched, brightly lit corridors. On either side, I recall the large mahogany doors which would fluidly open to reveal ancient, chestnut-brown rooms with antique, twin bed frames which were confined within. I will never forget the uncanny gargoyles that were suspended onto the wall behind, the very same monsters who would assault my sleep and curse me with countless numbers of sleepless nights.…
