The break is a great chance for clubs and teams to celebrate the holidays. The FFA, swim team, and lots of other clubs/sports teams have big plans for Christmas.
Will your club or team do anything special this Christmas? This Wednesday the FFA had their annual Christmas party at 6:00pm they had a gift exchange and potluck dinner, and the swim teams Christmas party/gift exchange is at the pool at 7:30. After the break the outdoors club is going to have a sledding trip.
The FFA’s Christmas party/gift exchange will be held in both Miss. Walkup and Mr. Kennedy’s class rooms. Club members are expected to bring a $10 gift for the gift exchange.
That pretty much covers all the FFA news so let’s move on to another topic. …show more content…
They are hoping to have the trip sometime over the break but unless something changes they will likely have to have the trip after the break. They don’t yet know where they will go to sled but their hoping that they will be able to figure it out before winter break.
The swim team will be having a gift exchange/Christmas party over the break. It will be at the pool and they are expected to bring a $5 gift for the gift exchange. They will also be having a few meets and a couple competitions over the break. The FFA is also doing a gift thing and will be buying Christmas presents and dinner for local children.
Whatever you are doing over winter break we hope to see you at some of these events. Hope to see you at the swim competitions and have a great winter
