Winston Salem State University Case Study

After graduating from Surry Early College, I might decide to attend Winston Salem State University (WSSU) or University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). WSSU is a very large, public university in a urban setting in Winston Salem itself. If I was to transfer to Winston Salem State University, they would have a flexible process to evaluate each course of the transcript of a Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associates of Science (AS) degree. The university is able to accredit me with a baccalaureate, masters, or a doctorate degree from psychological studies to arts and visual studies. Going to WSSU would be around $5377.16, but they offer financial aid to help cover the costs. Going to University of North Carolina Greensboro

If one would go around and ask the constituents of College of Dupage about their biggest issue on campus some would complain about the cafeteria food chains, the educational policies but the one complaint you would hear the most would be parking. Most would say the best solution would be to build a bigger parking lot or parking garage, which is…

It is a clear fact that college students are asked to pay an unreasonable amounts of money for tuition to attend California State Universities. The objective at hand is to receive donations from students so that the CaSU Organizing Committee may give students a voice in our state government, so that the legislators can be convinced that the cost of tuition should be lowered. In sight of the current issue at hand regarding acquiring donations from students, the inherent problem is most students in college are infamous for not having much money leftover due to the cost of tuition and educational supplies. To overcome this issue, it is proposed that we offer students an incentive for donating to our cause, which would be to give school supplies, sell food/drinks to fundraise, and acquiring a sponsor to gain additional support. The means used to fundraise would complicate the legitimacy of the “true voice” of students to only those who feel strongly about the topic at hand or possibly in dire need of supplies due financial situations.…

Smith College has been the focus of efforts to mitigate climate change. However, with the changes of climate already taking place, Smith College needs to take steps to prepare the college for the changes which will be coming to the area. To begin taking steps to address climate change impacts on campus a vulnerability assessment of Smith College was developed. The assessment was developed by looking at literature on expected climate change in the region, and by talking to stakeholders both on campus as well as at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the city of Northampton. This information was then broken down by season and a map was created to illustrate areas of possible concern on Smith College’s campus based on the seasons.…
