The Tehran Conference
In year 1943 president franklin Delanor Roosevelt, the Prime Minister,
Winston Churchill and soviet leader Joseph Stalin attended a conference in Iran. In order to discuss strategies to win the war against the Germans in World War II, also to discuss a peace treaty. Roosevelt and Churchill had just attended a conference in Casablanca in which Stalin had not been invited to. There for their was some conflict between the three leaders. Stalin became suspicious of Roosevelt and Churchill working against him.During this meeting the three leaders discussed many topics , but the
3 main topics they discussed were the second front against the Germans.
The possibility of the Soviet Union joining the war against Japan. Last

Do to the fact that Germany was eventually going to destroy Japan.
So the three leaders came to a conclusion at the conference to invade
France and change Germany's plans.With the location finally established they decided that the attack would in may of 1944. Do to the fact Stalin had been for a second front since 1941 he was every pleased to have achieved his goals for the meeting.Once again Stalin has agreed to enter the war against Japan after Germany has been defeated.
The conference was long and went on for four days. At the end of the conference the three leaders discussed the end of the war.The conference also addressed what they were going to do with their allies in countries such as Turkey, Iran, Yugoslavia, and Japan after the war. Do to the war being over those country's are no longer allies they are now enemies.
Churchill an Roosevelt also gave the USSR permission to set up communist governments in country's such as Poland,and Eastern
European country's which later resulted in the Cold War. They also tried to make Iran it's own country. The divided nations would be controlled by
America and Britain.
