Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister for Britain during World War II. He is famously known as the man who was responsible for the disbandment of the Nazis. However, before Churchill was Prime Minister of Britain, he held several government positions such as: First Lord of Admiralty, Home Security, Colonial Secretary, etc. During his time in those government positions, he gradually and persistently improved Britain. Winston Churchill was Britain’s guardian angel sent to save Britain and Europe from the Nazi’s regime.Winston Churchill should be celebrated for his tremendous leadership skills during World War II and for his valiant efforts to ameliorate the lives of the British nation. Before he became Prime Minister and World War II started, Winston Churchill raised awareness about the danger of Nazism (“Winston S. ”). After World War II and his first term as Prime Minister, he called for alertness about the threat of the Soviet Union (“Winston S.”). Winston Churchill cared about the well-being of Britain before and after he was Prime Minister. As leader of Britain during World War II, he promoted the use of military aircrafts (“Sir Winston”). Also as war leader, Churchill bolstered the use of oil fired warships (“Sir Winston”). Winston Churchill cared about the improvement of Britain during his Prime Minister years. Churchill’s love for the status of Britain can be exemplified by his actions before, during, and after his Prime Minister …show more content…
These two things are what made Churchill a prominent figure in English history. As a great leader, his actions of not giving up inspired the Allies to keep fighting the war. As a government leader, he improved the life of the British by establishing useful acts and laws, such as the ‘National Insurance Act of 1911’ and the eight hour workdays. Winston Churchill’s love for Britain turned the country into a strong nation that now have alliances with other powerful nations, allowing them to be able to defeat any country that is threatening to conquer
