Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill formally known as Winston Churchill was born into a wealthy family on November 30th 1874. He had a life full of events to put him in a place in every history book, he was a writer/journalist served in the British military and later in life being in the life of politics he eventually became the Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War 2. He lived a long life until his death at 90 in 1965.

The early life of Winston Churchill he showed many traits of his father at a young age. He grew up in Dublin, Ireland, while living in Ireland his father worked for Churchill’s grandfather, John Spencer Churchill the 7th Duke of Marlborough. When he entered formal school

His bad health started around 1941 during one of his visits at the White House. A couple years later in 1943 he suffered from his first heart attack and later he suffered a similar attack while he was also battling a case of pneumonia. At age 78 he started to have strokes in his office and when this happened they kept this from the news and Parliament, all that was said was he was suffering extreme exhaustion and passed out. After that he went home to heal and recover from such a bad issue, but once he felt better he returned to Prime Minister in October to continue his job that he does best leading but he knew that he mental and physical health was slowly slipping from him but it did not stop him from being the Prime MInister of England. In 1955 he retired from being the Prime Minister but he remained to be a member of Parliament until 1964 where he decided to not run again for re-election. In his later years he suffered from a disease called Alzheimer's. With this disease he suffered from a progressing development of destroying memories and other mental function. Once he learned about the disease he has been dealing with doctors said that this is why he and reduction of mental capacity which would have put him at a high risk of all the strokes he has had. Even though he was living very poor health he managed to be very active in public life. On January 15, 1965 suffered from several strokes which left ill and nine days later he died in his home in London on January 24, 1965 he was 90 years old.
