A.A Milnes As I see my son walking out of school, I see dreadful tears that were streaming down his face. I ran as fast as I can to ask him who did what. He answered "IT WAS YOU DAD! IT WAS YOUR STUPID BOOKS! DO YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE PUSHED AROUND AND MADE FUN OF!!?" At that moment I knew that he was talking about Winnie the Pooh, one of the worst mistakes of my life. I talked to him for awhile and said it's going to be ok. He cheered up after several lectures. I took him out for some ice cream and made him his favorite dinner which was spaghetti because he liked playing with the noodles but that one night, he did not eat and it utterly confused me asking him what I did wrong. What I noticed is he's been saying Winnie the Pooh books were the problem for four years but I actually never listened. I told him that I don't want him to financially suffer but he didn't know what that meant so we left it at that. It all started when he was six years old. I took my book to a publisher and they loved it! It started to become a top seller and even got an award for the best children book. Until, Chris read it and asked " When did the you make this? Kids started talking about me and this was the reason? You know you just spilled a secret that can ruin my life right? I'll be known as the kid that plays with his stuffed animal and I don't want that." I looked at him nervously and tried to avoid eye contact. I carefully tried to form a sentence that wouldn't aggravate him. I ended up telling him that it would be ok. The next day he started to cry and yell after school. At that moment what I also realized was that I better stop making these books because I don't want him to go away. I then retired after several years of packing up but it was too late. He packed his bags and went to

I told him that maybe he didn’t talk to anybody that he kept everything to himself. I had a long talk with him, I assured him that his dad and I were always going to be there for him and that is someone is bullying him to let us know and that we would do anything to getting away from that situation.…

Robert Hayden presents a stimulating experience with his poem, “Those Winter Sundays.” He presents a poetic experience of his hardworking father, and his thanklessness as a child. It seems he presents this moment to signify how any child, no matter their race or religion, might not see the pain and turmoil their parents or guardians go through on their day to day lives. To think words can have such powerful emotions and feelings alone is thought provoking. Actions speak louder than words, is what comes to mind when reading this poetic classic.…

I know this because in the story " Papa's Parrot" by Cynthia Rylant (Rylant one) it says " For years, after school, Harry had always stopped to see his father at work Many of Harrys friends stopped, there, to".
