I’m pretty sure most of us know the stories of Winnie the Pooh. Do you remember the two characters Tigger and Eeyore. We all know Tigger as the energetic, exuberant, and friendly character. Eeyore is the more insightful, gloomy, and dismal character. There are many different ways that people are defined in life. Would you consider yourself to a very vibrant and excited person or a shallow and negative person? An optimist would be somebody who tries to find light even in the darkest of places, while a pessimist wouldn’t bother to look because he knows that he probably won’t find it. Just because I see myself as an “optimistic pessimist” doesn’t mean that you should see yourself the same way. Be who you are. My advice to you is that you should try to live a happy life, don’t let the troubles of this world try to bring your down. Don’t always conform to whatever society does, be like Tigger. Jump around, be unique, smile, and love life. Just know that it’s okay to have your moments. There are times where you will break down, and want to be alone. Just know that it’s alright, life is hard and it’s difficult to put a smile on your face everyday. When you wake up everyday you have choices, to be positive or negative. No matter which one you pick, just know that the attitude you choose to have effects the people around you too. That doesn’t mean you should flip your personality in order to satisfy others. I just want you to be yourself, be different for a
