Wink Poppy Midnight Reflection

I had troubles in my early educational career. during elementary school, I was in a special reading class called Title I. I was in this class because I had a lot of trouble reading and could not read at my grade level. I was in the class from the second to fifth grade. I didn't like reading for the longest time I was very discouraged because I could read as well as other kids my age, so I just didn't read. I never read a book I didn't have to until my sophomore year of high school when we had to read our own book every Monday for my English class. When my class went to the library to get books I had asked my teacher to help me find a book together we found a book called "Wink Poppy Midnight" I read it in less than two days I loved it so much. …show more content…
Even though I had trouble with reading I was always good at math and I liked it quite a bit. Math always came pretty easy to me. But even though I was good at math that didn't help me with my freshman year because I had a hard time adjusting to high school and it affected my grades quite a bit, wasn't failing any of my classes but my grades were not where they should have been. But by my second semester, I was back on the honor roll but my GPA was affected the first semester. When I started my sophomore year I knew I was going to have to work hard to get my cumulative GPA up because I wanted to go to college. Durning my sophomore year I took Personal Finance it was a required class. I didn't think I would like but I was of my favorite class I have ever taken. I loved it, the setting budgets, balancing checkbooks, I loved it all. this class was a big reason I changed my mind about becoming a nurse. The other big reason was when took chemistry my junior year, this class made me realize that I don't like science and nursing might not be a good fit for me.
