Central A/C System : Even though some people might say that Central A/C System cooling is the best method, I disagree with it. In fact it is the worst kind of cooling method because they have various negative points. Some might say that Central A/C System is the best as there is only one system to cool the entire area and they do not need that much of electricity. But according to the National Institutions Of Health these central A/C system units create condensation in drain pipes and can cause microorganisms and holds to grow. In fact it is the worst kind of cooling method because they have various negative points. The design of building cooling system is when they place windows and doors or areas where cool air is able to come. In Abu Dhabi during the summers it is so hot. Instead of getting cold air, the hot air is going to be coming inside the house. I believe that if you come from outside where it is so hot, you would want some cold energy. To get hot air after you have come from some where hot, I believe that it is a disaster. It is not use to place the window in a specific place. Another bad point about design of building is that if there is a sand storm then all the sand will get into the house and it will be a disaster. The whole house will be filled with sand and instead of protecting you, it will infect make the house messy. In Abu Dhabi I think that this is the worst ind of cooling method that you can keep looking at the conditions of the place. There are frequent sand storms and when AC is most required which is summers, it is too hot outside and so this method is not useful at all. Solar cooling is when the sunlight or solar panel is used to generate electricity which makes the fans to move. First and foremost solar cooling would require plenty of solar panels to be installed all around Abu Dhabi. Solar panels are made from mercury and are extremely expensive. For Abu Dhabi to run on solar panels for cooling is very costly and not affordable by all. Also the wiring of the solar panels to the fans is very complicated and there are not much installers all around the world. In case as we all know in Abu Dhabi it can get foggy at times then the solar panels will not charge and so it will be of no use. Even though the solar panel will be at the top of the roof of the houses, it will not be as effective as electricity. The intensity or the speed of cooling will be much lesser as the solar energy is being transferred into electricity. Another bad thing about solar cooling is that it is very sensitive and fragile. The solar panel can easily break and paying again for them is a big hassle. What if the solar panel is at the top of the house and it starts to rain. Then the solar panels will become wet and the expensive mercury will be of no use as it is wet. Some might say that it is very rare to rain in Abu Dhabi but we have to be ready for it. Solar
