If I could put this story in my life there would be a lot of differences. “Diary of the wimpy kid the Getaway” is talking about a boy named Greg who wants to spend his Christmas at home with his family and friends. The story even says he made plans on how he spend it. Until his brother told him that they were going on vacation. At first Greg didn’t believe him but that night before Christmas Eva Greg was walking to his room and over held his parents talking about the vacation. If this part was in my life I would have convinced my mother or father to stay. Some way I would convinced them is I would cook dinner and talk to them while eating. Then I would go to their rooms and be a maid for a day. After the book says they all had to pack

Jeannette talks about how her parents were and the person she is today reflects on why she wanted to change her living structure.
