According to Dictionary.com the definition of a mascot is: An animal, person, or thing adopted by a group as its representative symbol and supposed to bring good luck. Willie the Wildcat shows this definition perfectly, which makes him perfect to be put in the Mascot Hall of Fame. The Mascot Hall of Fame will be made sometime in the next few years in Whiting, Indiana. Willie the Wildcat has been an important part of the United States history for over a century now, and has entertained millions of fans, which is why he should be in the hall of fame.

One way he does this is by showing kids how to do the KSU chant. He is also very good at entertaining the public, especially the youth at almost every K-State held sport event. Finally, Willie the Wildcat is very friendly and works with children very well. In other words he is a great mascot to take pictures with and make memories from.
Willie the wildcat rides in on a Harley Davidson every game this is memorable because it's awesome and puts team spirits up each game.when he does this it shows that they are strong and won't give up easily.this is how willie the wildcat is memorable. Some people may say that Willie the Wildcat is a bad mascot that lacks symbolism, however Willie the Wildcat represents KSU as a team and has been around since 1915; Showing how important and impactful he has been.
Willie the Wildcat should be in the Mascot Hall of Fame because many fans would come to see him because of the impact he’s had on sports. Willie the Wildcat also has meet all of the standards of being able to be in the Mascot Hall of Fame. Those standards are, having a Costume that is unique, fun, and memorable. He also has a big impact on the community, some examples are simply entertaining the crowd at a sports events and going to private events like birthday
