Drama is a term used in literature that can catch some people’s eyes. “A drama is a composition in verse or prose presenting a story in pantomime or dialogue, containing conflict of characters, particularly the ones who perform in front of audience on the stage” ("Drama - Examples and Definition of Drama”). It is a performance based fictional illustration. Drama is a type of illustration that can depict a play in theaters or on televisions. It is based on action. The action is what draws the audience’s eyes to it ("Drama - Examples and Definition of Drama"). An author of a drama is known as a dramatist or playwright. They study many different techniques to make their play or drama better. One technique an author might us is writing plays. …show more content…
In “Death of a Salesman,” Willie Loman has some unrealistic personal goals. He thinks he can be a very successful traveling salesman. However, his wife, Linda, does not think so, so she suggests Willie ask his boss to get him an office that is local ("Death of a Salesman Summary"). After the dispute of Willie not being to be a traveling salesman because of his driving difficulties, Biff, Willie and Linda’s son, comes home. He works as a farmhand in the West. Willie is disappointed in Biff because he thinks Biff could do something to be more successful. Later, Willie begins having crazy flashbacks, which shows everyone in the house how crazy he is. They learn about the craziness of everything with Linda and his job ("Death of a Salesman Summary"). Willie Loman had a tough next day. Nothing went right. He got fired, his son was denied for much needed loan. Willie’s family ditched him for some girls, which led to Willie daydreaming about his affair in Boston. When Linda found out that her sons left their dad, she got mad. Willie thought that his sons didn’t love him. Later, when Willie realized that his sons did love him, he wanted the best for Biff, so he crashed his car, killing himself so Biff would get the insurance money. At the end of the play, Linda is in denial about the troubles Willie was having. Biff decided he wanted to be a better man than he was before to make his dad proud (("Death of a Salesman
