Willie’s approach to managing people is autocratic, authoritarian at can be further called a dictatorship. In this style of leadership, the decision-making process is usually unilateral; team members are not consulted even if their input could be useful; the communication is described as one way. Bass (1990) describes autocratic leadership as “directive, coercive, cold, punitive, task-oriented, persuasive and closed”.
