William Thackeray wrote, “Never lose a chance to say a kind word.” Over time, there's been a few situations where someone was especially nice to me.
The first one was my step dad. When he first started seeing my mom, he took the time out of his day to teach me how to play guitar, even though he had his own children and more important things to do.
