In fair Verona streets, a feud between the Montague and Capulet families had been underway for many generations, which led to innumerable brawls in Verona. Of these said brawls one had caused such commotion as to call attention to Prince Escalus, Prince of Verona, who declared that anyone who shall disrupt the peace on Verona streets again, will immediately be sentenced to death. Proceeding this fight, friends, Benvolio and Mercutio met with Romeo, discombobulated from his recent splitting with girlfriend Rosaline, and quickly learned, of a Capulet Ball. As it was a masquerade, Benvolio insisted on the three of them attending. He had proposed that once Romeo had seen all of the other gorgeous women in contrast to Rosaline, he would distinguish that she was not in fact the most desirable woman in Verona. Simultaneously, Lord Capulet is speaking to a candidate to be Juliet’s future husband, Paris. Promptly, Paris had wanted to get married, but Capulet had decided to prolong the marriage until Juliet was older. After minutes of being present at the party, Romeo had caught glance of stellar beauty across the room; he saw Juliet Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin, had overheard Romeo’s remarks of admiration concerning Juliet, and immediately concluded that he was a Montague. Sympathetically, Lord Capulet had denied Tybalt’s request to fight him. Although nobody knew it yet, Lord Capulet’s decision to tolerate Romeo at the ball eventually led to the death of his only daughter.…
